Team 3604 - The Goon Squad - is Excited to Host the 4th Annual Goonettes Invitational!
Not only do girls take charge of the drive team and pit crew in exciting Charged Up competition, but it also features the Goonettes Invitational Hands on Hallway with hands-on demonstrations and networking opportunities with engineering programs, businesses, and universities. There are lots of ways to get in on the action!
Drive teams must consist of all girls (with the exception of the drive coach) and, while all genders are more than welcome to support, girls are encouraged to take a leading role in the pits as well. Worried that your team won't have enough girls? Grab a few friends from another team - Team Merging is allowed!

Cost to Compete
$250 for one day; $400 for two days
The Goonettes Invitational is a girls' offseason FRC event that provides unique opportunities for girls to experience the STEAM field and encourages diversity among our students. Our event gives everyone a chance to show that they can contribute to their team, and to society, in ways that they never thought possible in a safe and inclusive space. The Goon Squad created the Goonettes Invitational in 2019 to provide an opportunity for girls to rise up and take charge of STEAM opportunities as we all work together to close the gender gap in STEAM right here in Woodhaven!
